Step 3 - Setup Tax Rates

  1. In BlueFolder, access the BlueFolder Tax Codes settings by clicking Settings-->General Settings-->Tax Codes.

  2. Click the name of the first Tax Code listed. If more than tax code is listed, repeat these steps for each tax code.
    OR If there are no existing Tax Codes, click New Tax Code.

  3. Ensure that the Tax Code Name and Rate in BlueFolder are matched exactly to the corresponding Tax Rate Name and Tax Rate in Xero as listed here: https://go.xero.com//Setup/TaxRates.aspx.

    Example: GST on Income, Tax on Sales, Florida Sales Tax etc.


The Tax Agency is required to be entered in BlueFolder but is not used by AccountsInSync.

Proceed to Step 4
